little tight for the type 2 pistol but fixable
Bought two of these for the type 2, Walther model 9. The mag well is 0.360", but the mags were 0.360" - 0.362" wide. Using a padded vice, I squeezed the mags 0.005" so they now fit into the mag well. Nice finish was not marred.

Fit of Walther Model #9 magazine
I bought 2 of these this month (5/21) for my type 2 (circa 1934) Walther model 9. The mags will go about half-way up the well, then start to bind. They are a wee bit too thick. A slap on the mag will set them, but getting the mag back out will require a tool to push them out! You will need to push them down from the top - quite a trick on a pistol that does not lock back. Since these are expensive and hard to find, I have not given up on them yet. Perhaps the sides can be pressed or ground a few thousands (plus a refinish job) to make them fit. Just don't expect these to fit, let alone, drop-free.
