VETERAN GUN CASES OF DESERT CHAOS!
...Suez Crises, 6 Day War, Yom Kippur…
From the days when Moshe Dayan and Ben Gurion fought multiple conflicts and purchased large military stores from France, this gun case came as part of a package of Jeeps, Half Tracks and Sherman tanks in the late 1950s. This rugged leather case was used for carrying and storage of a number of SMGs to include 1928 Thompsons with stock removed, M1A1 Carbines, MP40s, Grease Guns. The case was simple in construction with a fastened flap and carrying strap. Frequently seen slung on Jeep seats. Very few remain today and the ones we have were transferred to us in the 1980s. Only about two dozen remain.
