New springs are a good thing.
New springs help old guns to work like they should.
Most all of the 1903 Springfield’s that I take from being sporterized and put back to an original configuration are over a hundred years old, some of them have been rebuilt during early WWII and so the springs in those would still be like 75 or 80 years old.
So new springs would really help these old guns function correctly.
Most times that you have rounds not fire or weak firing pin strikes are due to weak firing pin springs.
Same things with M1 carbines / Garand’s, Mauser’s, Enfield’s and so on.
So I definitely recommend these springs.
