Hat has screened vents , a short brim as used In Vietnam by spec ops forces, preferred over the large contemporary brims that sag and can inhibit visual observation. Material pattern is lighter on one side and darker on the inside if use is desired by turning the hat inside out. The camo pattern is German WW2 splinter, and due to its mottled blending pattern, works well with most forest camouflage.
