Original Colt 1911A1 Military frame. Date of manufacture is 1943. Frame has light surface rust and pitting but marks are solid. Has ejector and 4 grip screw bushings installed. Frame has a faint Colt Ordnance Wheel mark that is partially showing on right side. Frame is marked on right side "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" above serial number and "1911A1 U.S. ARMY" towards dust cover. Left side of frame has inspector marks "V" by top of trigger guard and "P" by magazine release hole. Also has "AA" mark next to slide stop hole. The "AA" is an official military arsenal rebuild/rework stamp indicating the pistol was sent to the Augusta Arsenal in Georgia for inspection, repair, and refurbishment (usually during or after World War II) before being reissued. See pictures for more information.
Frame in picture is the pistol you will receive.
As with all surplus firearms they should be checked by a professional gunsmith.
