looks like a last ditch jap product the detent spring lock is wearing after a dozen or so open-close cycle so it is no longer tight even tho it snaps into place sharp edges and top grip doesnt line up properly due to riveted plate being offset

It’s very was nice, quality item, but it did require a bit of fitting to my rifle . I would recommend it to others

well built-with one exception-the holder for the issue oiler behind the leather pad is too big and as a clamp type device will not hold the oiler-other than that its good except the original m1a1 had a two rivet handguard

Quality not up to par
It looks great but function so-so. The folding stock doesn’t stay lock in when in extended mode and easily collapses. I haven’t fired the rifle yet but have concerns that it will collapse when firing. The hand guard did not align very well at all. I had to do a lot of manipulating to get it to align properly. Given the price of the product, I’m very disappointed.
