Not high quality
Better off buying used. The one I received had the inside channel cut crooked. I had to add wood to one ear and remove some from the other side.

Repro SMLE front guard
NOT a drop in fit. Metal front is too long and will need to be filed down including the lip that directly touches the nosecap edge. Metal is screwed on so will remove rest of black paint finish, smooth metal and cold-blue. Have not tried to apply any stain as yet. Can be fitted, but requires patience and metal file or two.
