Lee Enfield No.1 MKIII Buttplate Brass Original

This came to me in better condition that I hope for. No need to do anything to it but I will use maybe some 1000 and 2000 wet dry sandpaper with WD40 as lubricant on it to make it look almost new. I restore old military rifles and bayonets.

The brass is it decent shape, but the trap door came bent and sticking out a bit, so if you shoulder and fire your rifle with it installed it'll cut you. Not a particularly good example.
