Made to compete for an Indian contract, this was shelved when the Indian FAL rifles were dropped in favor of a new service rifle. Savage in length and scope, this 10.5 inch blade is longer than other FAL bayonets. Sporting a wood handle and cross serrated saw teeth, it fits the British L1A1 and Indian FAL rifles. Comes with steel scabbard.

L1A1 / Indian FAL Long Bayonet and Scabbard
After reading the reviews on this offering I called Sarco to verify condition and appearance of this bayonet and scabbard with a hands on appraisal from a warehouse worker He said it looked good so I bought one. It is very good. Only noticeable thing is that the grip screws stick up a little bit - I smoothed them down w/ a file and re-blackened them. I have recommended these to two of my FAL owning friends.

Only good for LARPing
If these were surplus, they were rejected due to poor build quality. Bluing is rubbing off, handle it poorly fitting, and the tooling marks would garner a D- in shop class. These are worth $20 as a refinishing project.

Poor quality
Poor quality reproduction. Ive ordered alot from sarco, but this was the first item i had to return. Arrived broken due to poor manufacture.
