Original British Military nylon waist belt pouch which became a component of P-58 web gear set. A staple of the soldiers sent to Northern Ireland where the rifle had to sit up high on the waist during long periods of patrol and checkpoints. Allows the Rifle butt to sit on your waist comfortably. Also used in conjunction when the top of the rifle was lashed to the rucksack. A handy addition to hunters too as it takes the weight off of your arms when holding rifles for long periods of time. Has belt loop or alternatively it has British C clips on the back . Made in the 1970s. Unissued.
