Horrendous Quality for the Price
I'm sure the quality of original Japanese slings was pretty low, but these could cost $5 and they would still make a killing off them. The material is okay, but the "metal" parts, whatever they are actually made from, are tremendously low quality. I just needed a couple fake slings for some arisakas that did not have any, and these will work, but they would never cut it in any capacity for actual sling duty. The "metal" buckle and button are the flimsiest pieces of pot metal (painted gold) I think I have ever seen. Having received a couple of these, I think they are outrageously overpriced, even at $18. You could probably buy the raw materials and make a dozen of your own for that price. I'm gonna give them two stars because at least my unslung guns are now slung.
