Rarely do we hear much about the inner workings of Nato, but in these Jane’s editions, you can examine how the organization works with its numerous commands and civilian political institutions. Table of organization of each member country is very interesting as it provides total force structure broken down into specific unit structure indicating as an example, for the U.S., how many Pershing missiles , Cobra Gunships, and Main battle tanks are at Nato’s disposal if needed. Interesting articles on procurement of weapon systems and ‘threat’ articles which guide much of Nato’s policies.
