Historic French Foreign Legion Flag of the famed Paratroops who went into harms way in Indochina , Algeria , Kolwezi, Afghanistan & elsewhere. Today it represents the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment which earlier, 2nd & 3rd battalions had been reformed into. Today it is part of the elite spearhead contingent for the French rapid reaction force. This flag emblem evolved out of the regiment’s participation in Cambodia , Annam, & Tonkin during the colonial Indochina war years up to 1955.This flag has vibrant colors and measures roughly 33” x 33”.
