GERMAN MODEL 1898 PIONEER SAWBACK BAYONET & SCABBARD
The longest of the WW1 German bayonets primarily associated with the Pioneer troops and NCOs.
The Mauser GEW98 rifle looks wonderful with this bayonet mounted and the saw teeth are effective at cutting, but primarily used as a mark of distinction for NCOs who coveted them. The bayonet is of new manufacture, full length, and with appropriate marking on the ricasso and scabbard.
