Commonly referred to in the family of German Butcher Blades, this was a second variation to the non-sawback butcher blade bayonet that chiefly became to the mainstay of WW1 German bayonets. The ‘sawback’ blade makes it quite intimidating and was far stronger than the 1898 sawback. Our new made bayonet comes with markings on the ricasso and is complete with steel scabbard.
