The French MAS36 CR39 Rifle was an adoption of the MAS36 Rifle for Paratroop use. Having reduced the length of the barrel and creating an aluminum folding buttstock, the compactness was beneficial , particularly for the French Foreign Legion Paras who used the rifle extensively in Indochina and Algeria where the action was. We have obtained a small number of original unissued leather slings that are unique to this rifle. Leather is supple, serviceable, and we have found none that exhibit dry rot. These slings were properly stored for longevity. A rare offering & Very Limited.
