model 38 carcano 8mm mauser

i have a rifle up & running off of this receiver & 8mm barrel. the only difficulty was making a carcano issue bolt accept the mauser case head, but, it can be done if you are very careful. i did not bother trying to make carcano clips compatible with the mauser .... i simply "rebated" the case rims, and things function pretty well. make sure the rims have no burrs, and are very smooth, and it will work. be patient .... material is hard to "put back."
