They also make it easier to efficiently load mags with .223 Remington cartridges that you will probably unload in a matter of mere seconds burning brass downrange. They also make it easier to handle smaller cartridges, especially in the cold.
Moreover, magloaders may potentially preserve your magazine feed lips, ensuring smoother, more reliable feeding down the line and minimizing the risk of deformation from repeated attempts to force cartridges into the mag under pressure.
