MODEL 1911 COMPENSATED BARRELS in 3 calibers will reduce recoil and speed your target acquisition especially during multiple shots. Takes a minute to install our barrel that comes with Barrel Bushing and permanently attached and ported Compensator. Also there is less weight on the muzzle end than with conventional screw on muzzle compensators. Most people comment on the change of performance, but also that it looks great too! Best bang for your buck
This non-ramped barrel is great, fitting it to the slide is simple, the barrel bushing is integrated, compensator is welded, and comes oversized allowing me to use NM tolerances, and reduces muzzle rise significantly. Obviously the other review is from an inexperienced amateur who doesn’t know about gunsmithing…

5.5” .45 ACP Comp Barrel
Idk what this other dude is bitching about, just installed mine… yeah imagine that it takes some gunsmithing to get matched to your slide like most 1911 parts. I replaced a 5” .45 ACP government barrel and the improvements overall cannot be put into words. Comparing to $200+ threaded barrels, this is the better barrel bar none. No Clark/Para ramps like the original Colt’s
